Key Functions
- To research and develop geological science, building and providing the information based on geological resources, and efficiently utilizing ground and underground space
- To research and develop exploration, development, utilization, and circulation of mineral resources
- To perform R&D of securing underground energy resources
- To perform R&D of responding to earthquake, geological disasters, and changes in the global environment
- To perform R&D of exploring, developing, and conserving groundwater resources
- To cooperate, for technical services provision and consignment, technology commercialization, technical policy establishment, other test evaluation, and certification in R&D
